Block Duel is a mobile puzzle game with solo play and direct Nearby Duels You can play without creating a Block Duel account.

This policy explains what the app stores on your device, what is exchanged with a nearby player, and what third-party advertising and optional diagnostics services may process.

Data stored on your device

The app stores your display name, gameplay progress, scores and statistics, settings, solo rewards, and recent ad-related state on your device. This lets you play solo without a Block Duel server or Internet connection. Block Duel does not upload this gameplay profile to its own server. Removing the app normally removes this local data; your device backup settings may affect how long a copy remains in a backup.

Nearby Duels

When you choose to host or join a Nearby Duel, the app uses Bluetooth and/or a local Wi-Fi connection to connect directly to another phone. The two devices exchange the display names shown in the lobby, connection and game messages, live score updates, and gameplay replays needed to verify the result. These messages are exchanged between the phones rather than sent to a Block Duel game server. Each phone stores its own nearby win, loss, and draw totals. An unfinished duel is not recorded as a result.

Nearby permissions are requested when you use Nearby Duel. You can decline them and continue to use Solo Run. You can change permissions later in your device settings.

Advertising

Solo play can show banner ads and optional rewarded ads through Google Mobile Ads. Nearby Duels do not show ads while a session is connected. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as your IP address (which can indicate an approximate location), device or advertising identifiers where permitted, ad views and interactions, and app or SDK performance and diagnostic information. They use this information to deliver, measure, protect, and, where you allow it, personalize ads. Block Duel does not give Google your nearby replay or the other player’s display name for ad targeting.

The app asks for advertising consent when required and offers a Privacy choices control in Settings when a review of those choices is required for your region. On iOS, you can also control app tracking in system Settings. Declining tracking does not prevent you from playing; ads may still be shown without access to the iOS advertising identifier where permitted. See

[Google’s privacy policy](https://policies.google.com/privacy) for more about Google’s data practices.

Optional diagnostics

If this feature is enabled in the installed version, the app asks whether you want to share usage and crash diagnostics through Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. Collection is off by default and can be turned off again in Settings. Diagnostic events concern app reliability and Nearby connection steps. Block Duel does not add display names, player identifiers, nearby endpoint identifiers, replays, seeds, scores, or local-network addresses to these events. Firebase may also process device, operating-system, app-version, performance, and crash information needed to provide these services. See [Firebase privacy information](https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy).

Support requests

If you contact us through the [support page](https://thewebfield.com/support/) or email, we receive the contact details and message you provide so we can respond. Please do not include passwords, payment information, or other sensitive details. The support website may have separate privacy terms for data submitted through its form.

Retention, deletion, and choices

Local game data remains on your device until you remove the app or erase its data, subject to any device backups. Nearby connection messages and full replays are used for the live session; the app does not retain them in a Block Duel server. Advertising and diagnostics providers apply their own retention periods to information they process. You can withdraw optional diagnostics consent in the app’s Settings and review available advertising choices there; you can also change iOS tracking and Nearby permissions in system Settings. For help with a privacy request or deletion of information you sent to our support team, contact us through the [support page (https://thewebfield.com/support/) or [contact@thewebfield.com](mailto:contact@thewebfield.com). Because Block Duel has no game account or central gameplay profile, we cannot recover or delete local data from your device remotely.

Children and changes

Block Duel is not directed to children below the digital age of consent in their country. We may update this policy when the app or its providers change. The latest version and its effective date will appear on this page.
